Babar Azam tried to boost the morale of his teammates in the dressing room after Pakistan lost to Australia in the semi-final. He urged his teammates not to point fingers at each other after the disappointing loss. He said that the entire team was not able to play to its potential. He advised his teammates to learn from their mistakes.

“Everybody is sad, everybody is feeling the pain. We need to figure out where we went wrong and where we have to improve. No one will tell us this, we all know this. But we have to learn from this,” He made a speech to his teammates in the dressing room.
