Afridi gets fined for hitting the batter with the ball while Mohammed Siraj escapes without fine

Mohammed Siraj, an aggressive fast bowler from India, overstepped his bounds during the first Test against South Africa in Centurion. The fast bowler aggressively threw Temba Bavuma’s delivery back to the batter. The incident occurred on Day five of the Test when he defended a delivery straight to the bowler. Physios intervened after Temba Bavuma had been uncomfortable for a few minutes

Mohammed Siraj was accused of placing unnecessary pressure on the batter, who was not trying to run. The fast bowler appeared to be facing a match-fee fine of some kind, but it turned out that nothing happened to him.
