100-year-old Historic Monroe hiking trail restored in KP

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s 50-kilometer Monroe hiking trail was restored by the government as part of its vision of promoting ecotourism. ‘Under our vision of promoting ecotourism, we have restored the historic Monroe hiking trail in KP. The trail traverses 50 km of pristine natural forests with two glamping sites, Imran tweeted. He also posted a video clip of the historic and scenic hiking trails.

The video showed lush green meadows, lush dense forest, milky waterfalls, and many other attractions. It features a nomadic lifestyle, snowfields, glaciers, mountain peaks, a 100-year-old historical forest hut, and 2,000-year-old Deodar trees.
