UN blames humans for climate change caused by ‘unprecedented’ changes

Globally, scientists predict that humans will suffer from more extreme weather experiences in the years to come, according to a UN report. Climate change will also cause sea levels to rise and Arctic ice to melt. The alarming report released by the UN Scientific Panel on Monday called climate change “unprecedented”. Moreover, it argued that humans are “unequivocally” responsible for the climate crisis.

Climate experts called for drastic cuts in emissions to improve the planet’s climate under the Paris Agreement. The UN panel has released its most comprehensive report since 2013. It includes the contributions of 234 experts from 66 countries.
