Prime Minister Imran Khan promised development for tribal areas as those areas suffered the most during the terrorism in the country. During a rally, the PM promised the people of Mohmand district a better system of education, healthcare and employment as they were left behind in the race of life. He said that Ehsaas Programme aims to take responsibility of the poor segments of the society. 

PM Imran launches multi-billion Islamabad Blue Area project

Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the multi-billion Islamabad Blue Area commercial project. Taking to Twitter, the prime minister announced that the project will provide jobs and attract investment from overseas Pakistanis. The commercial auctions will be held from April 14-16 and the funds will be used to rehabilitate the city, in the provision of services and to improve the environment. 

Imran Khan issues orders for building 40-acre Software City in Islamabad

Prime Minister Imran Khan has reportedly ordered the establishment of a massive 40-acre software city in the country’s capital, Islamabad. In a meeting held with high-profile officials from the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications, Khan discussed various ways to strengthen country’s IT sector and shared his vision to boost the nation’s IT exports to $10 billion over the long term. 

PM Khan to announce Rs. 15 billion relief package to counter inflation

Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to introduce another Rs. 15 billion relief package to counter the uncontrolled inflation in the country. It was decided during a meeting that Rs. 15 billion will be used to provide an uninterrupted supply of household commodities to utility stores across the country. Along with that, the district and city administrations will be mobilized to keep a check on the prices of grocery items to curb price manipulation. 

Govt to reduce food prices, promises PM Imran Khan

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that his government will announce on Tuesday measures to reduce the prices of basic food items. The premier said in a series of tweets that he understands the difficulties people have to go through due to inflation in the country. He also mentioned that the government is investigating the rise in sugar and flour prices. 

Good times ahead, PM Imran assures Kashmiris

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday reassured the Kashmiris that good times were ahead that will lead to their ultimate freedom from Indian occupation, while addressing a Kashmir Solidarity rally in Mirpur. He reiterated support for the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mistake of annexing Kashmir will become the reason for the region’s independence.

Addressing a ceremony organised by the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital in Karachi, PM Imran recalled when he fell from a make shift stage during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) 2013 election campaign and injured himself. 

Latest scam of fuel and repair expenses of cars by federal ministries revealed to PM

A recent report has brought to light a new scam by federal ministries and departments. The report submitted to the Prime Minister’s office reveals that federal ministries have been siphoning fuel and repair expenses off the federal government for more than 7,000 defective vehicles. Acting over the report, PM Khan has ordered to halt transfer of fuel and repair expenses.

PM Imran rejects CPEC criticism, says the project “is really helping”

Prime Minister Imran Khan has claimed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) “is really helping” the country, while labelling all criticisms of the project ‘nonsense’. During an interview to a US news channel CNBC, when asked if CPEC was a debt-trap for Pakistan, Mr Khan said that the Chinese came to help Pakistan when the country was “at the rock bottom.” 

PM Imran Khan’s salary is less than his ministers?

In a recent public interaction, Prime Minister Imran Khan revealed that he barely manages expenses in his current salary as it is less than the salary of his ministers. According to an official salary slip issued from the Prime Minister House, Prime Minister Khan’s salary is indeed less than what his cabinet’s ministers earn as well as the chief ministers. The gross salary amount of PM is Rs. 201,574, which further reduces to Rs. 196,979 after tax and other deductions.
