Saudi Arabia has announced it will ban children under the age of 12 from entering the premises of Masjid al-Haram. The officials stated that children under the age of 12 do not qualify for Umrah, or permission to pray inside the Masjid al-Haram. Permission could not be granted through the Tawakkalna app.
Those who do not have permission to enter the premises of the Grand Mosque cannot perform Umrah or pray there. The ministry announced on October 15 that the Khana-e-Kaaba and Masjid-e-Nabvi would both be opened with full capacity.
