PCB collaborates with Arif Habib Group to install drop-in pitches in Pakistan

PCB chairman Ramiz Raja has announced that Pakistan will get drop-in pitches as the board looks to improve cricket in the country. The PCB has also signed an MoU with Arif Habib Group in this regard during season seven of the PSL. It is estimated that both pitches will cost Rs. 37 crores. The installation of a drop-in pitch at Karachi’s Naya Nazimabad Cricket Stadium.

The announcement of a second location is expected soon. Installation of these drop-in pitches is anticipated to be complete by 2022. Following completion of the process, PCB will have access to the stadium and can organize matches at the domestic and junior levels.
