Pakistan’s first digital dera is established in PakPattan to provide training to farmers on digital farming practices

In collaboration with the Agriculture Republic and Internet Society Global, Pakistan establishes its first digital era in a distant village of PakPattan district. Digital Dera will train 15,000 farmers in digital farming and provide them with access to the latest farming technology and resources. The first phase of this digital initiative will take place in a climate-controlled atmosphere powered by solar energy.

The Dera has been equipped with two desktop computers and three tablets with fast brands band internet connection. Additionally, the facility will connect them with agriculture experts for advice on issues ranging from plantation to harvesting crops.
