Pakistan beats New Zealand by 5 wickets in T20 World Cup

Pakistan defeated New Zealand by five wickets in their ICC T20 World Cup Super12 match on Tuesday. Mohammad Rizwan made 33 runs while Shoaib Malik finished with 26 runs and Asif Ali with 27 runs as Pakistan chased 135 runs in 18.4 overs. Pakistan restricted New Zealand to 134 for eight.

The pacer Haris Rauf took four wickets for 22 runs in a clinical bowling display. The Kiwis were invited to bat in the face of a disciplined Pakistan bowling attack. The Black Caps did not have a significant partnership in which Mitchell and Martin Guptill (17) had the highest opening stand of 36 runs.
