PM Imran Khan says Pakistan accepts China’s version of Xinjiang’s Uighurs

Islamabad on Thursday accepted Beijing’s version of what is happening to Uighurs in China’s Xinjiang province. The prime minister made these remarks to Chinese journalists during the opening ceremony to mark the centennial of the ruling Communist Party. Moreover, Khan said that the Chinese version was entirely different from western media reports.

He argued that it was hypocritical that attention is paid to the Uighur issue and Hong Kong. However, attention is not paid to the human rights violations taking place in occupied Kashmir. There are much worse human rights violations in occupied Kashmir, Khan said. However, Western media rarely mention this.
