New Zealand captain hopes Pakistan won’t hold grudges in today’s match

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson is hoping Pakistan is not vengeful over the team’s abandoning a tour on security fears last month. Pakistan and New Zealand will face off in a Twenty20 World Cup game in Sharjah on Tuesday. Williamson was not part of the squad in Pakistan as he was playing in the IPL in the UAE. There is no grudge match, said Williamson.

Williamson said that there are a lot of good relations between the two teams. Moreover, he added that both teams played a lot against each other, and a number of players have played with each other, as well. “I am sure the game will be played in the right spirit,” said Williamson.
