New Island emerges near Balochistan’s Kund Malir beach due to geographical changes

A new island appears off the coast of Balochistan’s Kund Malir beach on Thursday. Local observers report that the island looms from deep water and is a large area in Hingol National Park near Makran Coastal Highway. Moazzam Khan, a technical advisor at World Wild Fund on marine fisheries, says these islands are caused by geographical changes within the ocean depths.

According to Khan, these structures last for a short time, then disappear back into the sea. The island 350 feet off the coast was between 20 and 40 feet high and about 100 feet wide. Moreover, several islands of this type emerged in the same location between 2000 and 2010.
