National cricket team is taking its motivation from Ertugrul: Azhar Ali

After politicians and actors, the national cricket team is also hooked to  Turkish TV blockbuster Ertugrul. Speaking to reporters via teleconference, captain Azhar Ali said that the series is being used as an unlikely motivator for the Pakistan team ahead of their must-win third Test clash against England. “There is hardly any player who is not watching Ertugrul,” said Azhar.

Meanwhile, Azhar expressed confidence in having enough recoursed to win the third and last series-decider Test. “I think we have quality options in the side who can win us the last Test,” he said.

In the first ODI against New Zealand in Rawalpindi, the Pakistani fast bowler took 2 wickets, breaking the record of New Zealand’s Matt Henry.
