National Basketball Association Superstar Builds Solar Water Center in Sindh

A solar-powered water project has been launched in Tharparkar, Pakistan, by basketball superstar Kyrie Irving. Irving’s foundation, the KAI family, provided funds for the project that is providing water to around 1,000 villagers per day. The district of Tharparkar in Sindh is one of the poorest in the world and has experienced a severe drought for the last 17 years.

Moreover, Irving’s contributions to the Paani Project have helped provide clean drinking water to poor people living in the region. This isn’t the first time Irving has donated to the community. Moreover, he is always giving back to others with his own money and resources.
