North Korean officials are demanding handwriting samples from thousands of citizens of Pyongyang, following an incident in which graffiti referred to King Jong Un as a ‘son of b****.’ The message, ‘Kim Jong Un, you son of a b****. The people are starving to death because of you,’ appeared on the walls of an apartment building in Pyongchon on December 22.

Recent flooding has made the famine worse, prompting the offensive scrawl. Graffiti appeared in Seoul during high-level meetings of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea.
