Mohammad Rizwan bags ICC Men’s T20i Cricketer of the Year award

Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan’s star wicket-keeper, has been named the Men’s T20i Cricketer of the Year by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Mohammad Rizwan played 29 matches during the calendar year 2021 and scored 1326 runs at an average of 73.66 and a strike rate of 134.89. In addition to his bat skills, he was equally effective behind the stumps.

Aside from his exploits with the bat, he was equally as solid behind the stumps. Rizwan also scored his first T20 century against South Africa in Lahore early in the year. He finished the year with 87 against the West Indies in Karachi.
