The macramé artist Afsheen Anjum from Karachi created a beautiful portrait of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam. Afsheen Anjum has been practicing macramé since 2014. It is a form of textile produced using knotting techniques. Being Pakistani, she always felt that it was her responsibility to do what others overseas were doing, but there was no one else doing it in Pakistan.
Even though some people do these portraits globally as well, Afsheen simply wanted Pakistan to be included and highlighted. In order to create this beautiful portrait of Quaid-e-Azam, Afsheen Anjum worked 18 to 19 hours daily.
