Actor Sarwat Gilani hits back at haters after netizens spew hate on a recent post where she shares some public display of affection with her husband in Rome. Taking to her Instagram account on Tuesday, Gillani, clearly mentioned in the caption of the picture she shared that people should stop following her if they hated her so much. She remarked that people cannot bring her down and no one can bully her.

Cabinet delays decision to appoint new IG Sindh

The federal cabinet delayed the appointment of a new Inspector-General Police (IGP) Sindh after the government’s allies expressed reservations over the decision, Firdous Ashiq Awan confirmed. The development comes a day after Prime Minister Imran Khan and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah met to discuss the appointment of Sindh IG Kaleem Imam’s replacement as Imam was accused of performing unsatisfactorily by the government.

Shaheen Air’s aircraft mysteriously catches fire

In a shocking incident, defunct Shaheen Air’s Boeing 737-200 (AP-BIS) caught fire at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi on Sunday. The incident took place near the airport’s Labour Gate on Sunday night following which the fire tenders put out the fire. No human life was lost in the fire. Preliminary reports suggest that it was set on fire intentionally, however, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has formed a committee to probe the incident.

Latest scam of fuel and repair expenses of cars by federal ministries revealed to PM

A recent report has brought to light a new scam by federal ministries and departments. The report submitted to the Prime Minister’s office reveals that federal ministries have been siphoning fuel and repair expenses off the federal government for more than 7,000 defective vehicles. Large number of Pakistani students stranded in Wuhan seeks government’s help

At least 500 Pakistani students are reportedly stuck in the coronavirus-hit Chinese city of Wuhan. In a recorded video, the students have requested the  government to rescue them just like embassies of other countries are helping their citizens. “If even one of us gets affected, the others will be in danger,” said Hafsah Tayab, one of the students stuck in Wuhan.

Prince William gets new title amid royal shakeup

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, has another title to add to his list. According to a tweet by Kensington Palace on Saturday, Queen Elizabeth II has appointed him Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. As the Lord High Commissioner, the prince will now maintain a relationship between the State and Church.
