KP government decides to reconstruct Hindu temple vandalized by mob

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has decided to reconstruct a Hindu temple that was set ablaze and vandalized by a mob in the Teri area of the district of Karak. The Karak Hindu temple was burned by a mob last Wednesday, comprising youngsters, elders, and children, drawing criticism from human rights activists and religious minorities.

In an official statement issued on Friday, the provincial Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan directed the concerned authorities to restore the Samadhi of Shri Param Hans Ji Maharaj.

The CM said that the attack on the temple is highly condemnable and that government has arrested several people for the desecration.
