Huawei to assist Pakistan in creating world’s largest riverfront smart city

Huawei and Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) of Pakistan’s eastern Punjab province have signed an MOU to develop the world’s largest riverfront smart city. According to the MoU, both sides will work together to create a smart, green city. It will also include all of the latest safe and smart technology.

Huawei Pakistan shared a handout on Thursday about the existing one-year healthy relationship between both organizations. The handout explained that both parties would work together on the smart forests project under RUDA as a developer. In addition, Huawei will be the primary technology partner.

As part of the partnership, both parties will contribute to the development of smart forests, including innovation in IoT, cloud computing, big data, AI, data center facility, storage and servers, facility intelligence, and solar energy.
