Hassan Ali has equaled the record of former captain Imran Khan and legendary player Waqar Younis for most wickets in a Test match. The Pakistani fast bowler Hasan was outstanding in his performance against Bangladesh, taking five wickets in Test cricket. In addition to being Pakistan’s top bowler during the first innings, Hasan is also among the greatest bowlers in cricket history.

Hassan Ali is now a part of five-fers in Test cricket within a calendar year. The same record was held in 1982, 1990 and 1993. Hasan has taken 37 wickets in seven Test matches so far this year.
