The Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali has been reprimanded by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for breaching Level 1 of the Code of Conduct. The incident took place in the first T20I against Bangladesh on Thursday. Hasan was found to have violated Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel.

This is defined as “using language, actions, or gestures that disparage or could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon their dismissal during an international match.” Additionally, one demerit point was added to Hasan Ali’s disciplinary record for the first time in 24 months.
