Govt announces lifetime salary for the family of slain Sri Lankan manager

PM Imran Khan announced Tuesday that the Sri Lankan manager’s family will continue to receive a monthly salary. This comes after the manager was lynched in Sialkot last week. Premier Khan made the announcement during a condolence reference in Islamabad for Priyantha Diyawadana. Priyantha Diyawadana worked at a garment factory in Sialkot.

The business community of Sialkot has also collected $100,000 to be given to the bereaved family of Sri Lankan manager. Prime Minister Imran Khan also gave a certificate of appreciation to Malik Adnan, who tried to rescue the Sri Lankan citizen from being lynched.
