Pakistan, Turkey to co-produce TV series on Muslim general Salahuddin Ayyubi

Turkey and Pakistan have announced plans to co-produce a television series about Salahuddin Ayyubi. Salahuddin al-Ayyubi was a revered Muslim general who was known to the West as Saladin. Producer Emre Konuk, the owner of Akli Films in Turkey, welcomed the project offer from Pakistan’s Ansari & Shah Films on Saturday. Furthermore, the international project was meant to benefit both countries and the art world.

Pakistan conducts successful test flight of locally developed Fateh-1 Guided Multi Launch Rocket System

Pakistan Army successfully tested the locally developed Fateh-1 Guided Multi Launch Rocket System (G MLRS) on Tuesday. The Fateh-1 system was announced by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). In a press release, the ISPR said the weapon system will also provide Pakistan with the ability to engage targets deep within enemy territory.

Govt plans to impose ban on traveling in public transport for unvaccinated people

Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Planning, says people who have not fully vaccinated against Coronavirus will not be allowed to take public transportation from October 15. After October 15, Asad Umar told members of the SAPM that school teachers and staff who have not taken the shots will not be permitted to work.

New media authority can fine TV channels up to Rs250 million

Fawad Chaudhry, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, has stated that the proposed Pakistan Media Development Authority (PMDA) will be authorized to fine TV channels up to Rs250 million. Fawad said that there are currently seven laws regulating the media in Pakistan. According to him, all the laws were being abolished and replaced with the PMDA, a single authority.

Punjab govt bans entry of Tiktokers into all public parks

The Punjab Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) on Sunday banned all TikTokers from entering public parks after the Minar-e-Pakistan incident. PHA officials took the decision during a meeting in Lahore on Sunday. PHA reportedly issued a statement stating that all Tiktokers need permission prior to entering parks. Furthermore, the PHA is considering banning more than two men in public parks.
