leopard preservation zone opens in Islamabad

The government has established a leopard preservation zone in Margalla Hills National Park (MHNP) in Islamabad. The goal is to create a “balanced relationship” between humans and nature through the conservation of critically endangered species. The Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) inaugurated this week the Asian Leopard Preservation Zone in Margalla Hills to protect and preserve the felines. 

Babar Azam recalls the time when his cousins refused to lend him shoes

Twitter users are sharing a video of Pakistan skipper Babar Azam talking to former Pakistani captain Inzamam-ul-Haq. He recalls an incident when he requested to borrow an extra pair of shoes from his cousins and they refused to lend them to him. Babar told Inzamam that he used to play cricket on the streets and then he joined a cricket club.

Mohammad Rizwan wins the PCBs most valuable Cricketer of the year award

Mohammed Rizwan won the PCB’s Most Valuable Cricketer of the Year award after a successful year. He scored 455 runs in Test cricket, 134 in ODIs, and 1326 in Twenty20 cricket. Babar, the national team captain, won the One Decker of the Year award. Babar scored 405 runs in 6 innings in 2021. Pakistan had a spectacular season as they won a number of matches over 22 yards.

Swiss historian says Israeli intelligence agency Mossad may have been behind bombings and phone threats against German and Swiss companies. Justice Ayesha Malik is set to become the first woman to serve as Supreme Court judge

Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) approved the elevation of Lahore High Court Justice Ayesha Malik to the Supreme Court on Thursday. The appointment makes her the first woman to sit on the apex court in the country. Justice Gulzar Ahmed chaired the meeting during which Justice Malik’s elevation was approved by a vote of five to four.
