The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in its detailed order has said the popular online game, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), is “highly addictive” and a “wastage of time” and will not be unblocked. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Ayodhya temple next month, in a highly anticipated ceremony at a holy site, which was once a 460-year-old mosque. A few days after Punjab Assembly passed the Tahaffuz-e-Bunyad-e-Islam Bill, Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that Islam in Pakistan is not threatened either by TikTok or books. Chaudhry highlighted how he believes Pakistan is currently threatened by sectarian divisions and extremism.
