A new live-action Powerpuff Girls show is in the works at the CW, according to reports. The new series will be follow Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup through their 20s to take on new worldly troubles. The new live-action series will focus on the trio questioning their decision to fight crime throughout their childhoods and missing out on so many experiences.
Religious seminaries in the province of Sindh will now be registered by the government’s Education Department to formally recognise their academic services. The Sindh government would soon adopt a separate law for proper control and regulation of the religious seminaries, like the case of schools and colleges in the province. This decision was taken at a meeting of provincial Apex Committee of Sindh.

The Mansehra district administration has sealed all hotels in tourist hotspots Shogran, Naran and Kaghan after several Covid-19 cases were reported among staff working at different hotels. The district health department had reported 47 Covid-19 cases at private hotels located in these spots. 48 hotels, including 22 main businesses and their respective branches, had been sealed at all three tourist spots.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has been named Man of the Year 2020 by a Jordanian publication, The Muslim 500, for his efforts to ensure “lasting peace with India”. A freelance photojournalist from Indian occupied Kashmir, has been awarded the 2020 Peter Mackler Award for Courageous and Ethical Journalism. Masrat Zahra was named winner for her work covering events in occupied Kashmir with a specific focus on women in the region. Zahra will be honoured with the award in a virtual ceremony in New York on Sept 24, 2020.
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday approved a project to introduce specialised education in 400 higher secondary schools of the country. Presiding over a meeting, the prime minister gave his consent to the launch of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) project in collaboration with universities. Around 100,000 children schools will have access to education and training in modern sciences through this project.
