Sharif said that the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa had told the political leadership of the country that former prime minister never refused any funds or help needed by Pakistan Army.

Three men attacked and injured Mansehra Assistant Commissioner Marvi Malik Sher, later telling police that they did so because they did not want a female civil servant in the area. A U.S. military aircraft with four people on board crashed on Friday in northern Norway. The MV-22B Osprey aircraft belonging to the U.S. Marine Corps was taking part in a NATO military exercise called Cold Response when it was reported missing. Because of the bad weather, the rescue aircraft could not land. Instead, police and rescue services were trying to reach the site by land.
