Director General ISPR, Asif Ghafoor’s posters have surfaced in the streets and roads of Indian Occupied Kashmir, leaving Indian authorities in a state of severe shock. Ghafoor’s statement “We will fight for Kashmir till our last soldier and last bullet” is printed on the banners, which have appeared in IOK overnight. A new Whatsapp scam in Pakistan has the users scratching their heads. Users have been receiving fake calls from individuals who claim to be PTA officials and ask for verification codes that have been sent to the users’ numbers. By using these codes, these impostors gain access to Whatsapp accounts of users and use them to their advantage.

Three police officials booked for murder of mentally challenged viral ‘ATM’ robber

A murder case has been registered against three police officials for allegedly torturing to death Salahuddin Ayubi, a mentally challenged robbery suspect. Ayubi was arrested after his video of breaking open an ATM machine, making faces and sticking his tongue out at CCTV camera went viral. Ayubi’s father claims he was not informed of his son’s arrest by the police.

Pakistan will not be the first one to use nuclear arms: PM Imran Khan

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said Pakistan would not use nuclear weapons first against India. At the first International Sikh convention, PM Imran projected himself as leader of a responsible nuclear state, whereas Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has hinted at changing his country ‘no-first use’ nuclear policy. Popular micro-blogging site Twitter has sent a notice to ARY News’ official Twitter account over a video highlighting Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir and expressing solidarity with its people. ARY’s short video highlighting why Pakistan is condemning the Indian move in Kashmir was reported from Law enforcement of India. “The following content violates the law(s) of India,” reads notice sent by Twitter.

Atoms, a Pakistani e-commerce brand and one of the trailblazers in the world of footwear, has raised $8.1 million from a list of illustrious backers to bring its concept to the masses. The company has been selling directly to consumers in the US via its website and at one point had a list of nearly 40,000 people waiting to buy.

Pakistani filmmaker to make comedy movie on Abhinandan

Pakistani filmmaker and director Khalil ur Rehman Qamar has announced to make a comedy movie on Indian Wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman. In the movie titled “Abhinandan Come On”, Shamoon Abbasi will be seen playing role of the downed Indian pilot. The movie expected to release this September was planned after Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi announced last week to make a movie on Abhinandan.

PIA lays off nearly 1000 surplus employees

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) management has laid off nearly 1,000 surplus employees in order to reduce operational cost. The staff which has been termed “redundant” by PIA President Arshad Malik, was laid off on cost cutting recommendations of Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh. Dr Sheikh asked PIA to effectively utilise its assets, improve revenue streams and ensure efficiency and financial discipline.

India’s updated citizens list excludes nearly two million people, mostly Muslims

India has published the final National Register of Citizens (NRC), a list of bonafide citizens in the state of Assam, excluding nearly two million people amid fears they could be rendered stateless. 1.9 million people were excluded from a total of 3.1 million. The government says it carried out the mammoth exercise to detect and deport undocumented immigrants from Bangladesh.
