Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan will compete in the Javelin Throw finals with Neeraj Chopra of India during the Tokyo Olympics. For the first time ever, a Pakistani reached the final of a track and field competition during the Olympics. Earlier on Wednesday, he advanced to the finals of the javelin throw competition.

Moreover, Arshad threw 85.16 metres to qualify for the final, where he will face Neeraj Chopra of India. Nadeem’s final spot ensured a lip-smacking India vs Pakistan contest in the finals on August 7.
