Shaheen Afridi becomes first Pakistani to take four wickets in four balls in T20

Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi took four wickets in four consecutive balls during the T20 Vitality Blast match against Middlesex in Southampton. The 20-year-old is only the seventh player to take four wickets in four balls in a T20. Before Sunday, Afridi was having a poor season for Hampshire and was being taken to the cleaners by the batsmen.

Before Afridi, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and Sri Lanka’s Lasith Malinga in international matches, while West Indies’ Andre Russell against India, Bangladesh’s Al-Amin Hussain, India’s Abhimanyu Mathi and James Allenby in various domestic matches have accomplished this achievement.
