Govt claims NZ Cricket received threat emails from Mumbai, using a Singapore VPN

Pakistan claims that the security threats that were sent to New Zealand Cricket originated in Mumbai, India, where a VPN was utilized to disguise the location of India. The spellings used in fake email IDs also belong to the language Indians speak. Fawad Chaudhry stated that the fake emails that were used to threaten New Zealand Cricket were recently created.

These email accounts had been used exclusively for threatening purposes. Fawad Chaudhry discussed a fake social media post that was shared with a name associated with former TTP leader Ehsanullah Ehsan. The post warned the New Zealand cricket team against traveling to Pakistan.
