His two consecutive half-centuries in the ongoing T20I World Cup have helped him surpass England’s Dawid Malan as the leading batter. In his career, Pakistani skipper Babar is at the top of the ranking for the sixth time.

West Indies women’s team arrives in Pakistan for ODI series

The West Indies women’s cricket team arrived in Pakistan for a three-match ODI series against Pakistan. The team arrived at Jinnah International Airport on Monday. They will stay in quarantine for three days before training at National Stadium begins on November 4. The matches will take place at Karachi’s National Stadium on 8, 11, and 14 November.

The Pakistani startup, Sedenius Technologies, is working on introducing Self Driving Technology in Pakistan. The company designs and develops software for cars with autonomous driving systems. Currently, the company is working on developing an ADAS that is calibrated and modulated by technologies like Multisensor Data Fusion and the Automotive Data and Time-Triggered Framework.

Saudi Arabia bans children under age of 12 from entering Masjid al-Haram

Saudi Arabia has announced it will ban children under the age of 12 from entering the premises of Masjid al-Haram. The officials stated that children under the age of 12 do not qualify for Umrah, or permission to pray inside the Masjid al-Haram. Permission could not be granted through the Tawakkalna app.

In a recent match against Pakistan, where men in blue lost by 10 wickets, a few trolls targeted Mohammed Shami, but captain Virat Kohli supported him. B2B startup Zarya raises $1.7 million in pre-seed funding to build a ‘Meesho for Pakistan’

Lahore-based B2B social commerce platform, Zarya, has raised $1.7 million in a pre-seed round. The pre-seed round was led by Raed Ventures including Fatima Gobi Ventures, Class 5 Global, and Global Founders Capital. The seed round was also joined by Taager, an Egyptian social commerce startup that raised $6.4 million earlier this year.

PFF seeks dialogue with FIFA months after suspension from global body

Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah, president of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), said on Saturday that they were open to discussions with FIFA regarding their issues. The PFF was suspended by FIFA in April after Shah, a group of officials elected by the Pakistani Supreme Court for the PFF but not recognized by FIFA, took over the Pakistan football headquarters from the FIFA normalization committee.
