England agree to play postponed T20s in Pakistan next year

ECB CEO announced that England will play two additional men’s T20s when they visit Pakistan next year. Apparently, the announcement was made after England cricket chief Tom Harrison met with his Pakistani counterpart, Ramiz Raja, in Lahore. The ECB originally planned to play five T20I matches during next year’s tour of Pakistan.

A 24-year-old activist said it was one of the most special days of her life. Malala’s husband, Asser Malik, is the PCB’s general manager of the High-Performance Center. The couple is looking forward to the journey ahead together, she stated.

Rohit Sharma has been named the new captain of India’s T20 team, replacing Virat Kohli. The Indian cricket board announced the squad for the upcoming tour by New Zealand after the team crashed out of the World Cup. The Indian board announced Rohit, 34, as its T20 captain as the upcoming New Zealand tour gets underway.

Pakistani Finisher Asif Ali voted ICC Player of the Month

Asif Ali, who has been performing well in the ongoing T20 World Cup, has been voted the ICC Player of the Month for October. Ali beat out the Bangladeshi Shakib Al Hasan and Namibian David Wiese to win the men’s award. He scored unbeaten 52 runs across three games for Pakistan at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, with a strike rate of 273.68.

Mohammad Hafeez withdraws from series against Bangladesh, saying youngster should get a chance

Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez withdrew from Pakistan’s three-match T20 series against Bangladesh on Monday. In his opinion, young players should have the chance to play on the tour. He will play in Pakistan’s Twenty20 World Cup semifinal game against Australia in Dubai on Thursday. Following the T20Is, Pakistan’s 18-man squad will fly to Bangladesh for two Tests.
