NSC approves Pakistan’s first-ever national security policy

The country’s National Security Committee (NSC) has approved the nation’s first-ever National Security Policy. The initiative was designed to boost the security apparatus to tackle both internal and external threats and ensure citizens’ protection. The 36th NSC meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, unveiled Pakistan’s new security policy. The policy had been developed with the input of all stakeholders.

National security at stake as official emails of Ministry of Finance gets hacked

Several senior officers of the Ministry of Finance allegedly had their official emails compromised via a cyber attack. Therefore, sensitive information on the IMF, FATF, CPEC, and other government departments has been compromised. A video teaser of the email addresses and subject lines from the breached emails was also posted by the hacker.

According to Ali Muhammad Memon, the bike was developed over a period of three months at a cost of Rs300,000 to 350,000. The cop said he wanted to develop a unique thing that would get Pakistan’s name out in the world.

Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has granted Binance in-principle approval to become a crypto-asset service provider in the kingdom. The CBB granted Binance in-principle approval after the company applied for a license. The company hopes to become a centralized, fully regulated cryptocurrency exchange. Binance is the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume.

Pakistani citizens gathered on Monday to remember Benazir Bhutto on her 14th death anniversary. She was the first female Prime Minister of a Muslim-majority country. She was also Pakistan’s second nationally elected Prime Minister. At 35 years old, she was the youngest elected leader in the Islamic world. She was the youngest Prime Minister in history, and the youngest woman to hold the office.

100-year-old Historic Monroe hiking trail restored in KP

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s 50-kilometer Monroe hiking trail was restored by the government as part of its vision of promoting ecotourism. ‘Under our vision of promoting ecotourism, we have restored the historic Monroe hiking trail in KP. The trail traverses 50 km of pristine natural forests with two glamping sites, Imran tweeted. He also posted a video clip of the historic and scenic hiking trails.

China handovers largest, most advanced warship to Pakistan Navy

The Pakistan Navy (PN) received a Chinese-built Type 054A/P frigate on Friday. The Overseas Naval Chief Commodore Rashid Mahmood Shaikh and his delegate to China attended the launching ceremony. This frigate and its sister ships will be Pakistan’s most powerful surface vessels under its naval modernization program. The program is intended to compensate for Pakistan’s conventional disadvantage against India.
