2 men arrested for shooting teenage boy for resisting rape attempt

Police have arrested two suspects for allegedly shooting a teenage boy after the boy had resisted rape attempt in Muzaffargarh. The third suspect, however, still remains at large. A complaint was registered at a police station in the city, where it was alleged by the father of the boy that three men attempted to rape his son and then shot him in the hip for resisting.

The wounded teenager was found by passersby, who heard him screaming and then informed his father. The victim is undergoing medical treatment at Nishtar Hospital.

According to the FIR, the boy was lured to an eatery by two men, where a third man joined them. The suspects then forcefully took the victim to a forest where they attempted to assault him, the FIR claimed.
