Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has announced that electric buses will operate in Pakistan from this year. The minister took to Twitter to share a Strategic Alliance Agreement between Daewoo Express and Skywell Automobile, China, according to which an electrical vehicles value chain will be set up in Pakistan.
A few days after Punjab Assembly passed the Tahaffuz-e-Bunyad-e-Islam Bill, Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that Islam in Pakistan is not threatened either by TikTok or books. Chaudhry highlighted how he believes Pakistan is currently threatened by sectarian divisions and extremism. There is a dangerous attitude in parliament, that will promote sectarian and religious extremism, he said.
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Hussain Chaudhry has predicted that Eid-ul-Azha will fall on Friday, July 31. Chaudhry said that the prediction is based upon the ministry of science’s five-year lunar calendar. The minister also noted that the Zilhajjah moon will be sighted on July 21, and will be visible over Karachi and its adjoining areas.
Senior PTI leader Faisal Javed Khan has also become part of the Ertugrul debate and defended the airing of foreign content after criticism from Science Minister Fawad Chaudry. In response to Fawad’s tweet, Faisal said that Ertugrul will help our industry and will also give us chance to export our content abroad. He added that we also need to improve our content.
