Hackers shared piles of tweets within hours and changed the user name to Pʋmp. The Punjab Police spokesperson reported that the department’s official Twitter account had been hacked.

The Peshawar Institute of Cardiology has successfully performed a heart valve replacement procedure without having to undergo chest surgery. The newly-discovered frog species has been named “Pristimantis gretathunbergae” by a scientific journal. In a bomb blast in Lahore’s busy New Anarkali area on Thursday, two persons and a child were killed and 25 others were injured. Those injured have been transferred to the Mayo Hospital. According to hospital sources, nine injured people were in precarious condition. A number of motorcycles parked near the explosion site were destroyed.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) froze all the bank accounts of renowned Pakistani singer Aima Baig today for nonpayment of taxes. Before FBR could reach Baig, she had already withdrawn 25 million rupees from her bank accounts and emptied them. Currently, the FBR is considering seizing her vehicles. Apparently, Baig owes Rs85 million in income taxes.
Senator Shibli Faraz has said the government intends to regulate crypto and make blockchain technology available as soon as possible. He told participants at the Blockchain Summit in Islamabad that the State Bank, SECP, and Finance Ministry have all teamed up to accomplish this goal.
