The man allegedly smuggled Korean-language shows into North Korea on USB drives from China. Several high school students were caught watching the footage. One student who bought one of the flash drives was sent to prison for life.
US government has blacklisted 28 tech firms in Pakistan, China, Russia, and Japan. These companies are alleged to have been involved in the development and distribution of military and nuclear projects. The move has targeted 13 corporations in Pakistan and 12 enterprises in China. The companies are making it difficult for US companies to sell technology to listed companies.
PIA became the first international air passenger carrier to fly regularly to Fujairah in the UAE on Thursday. The flight left Peshawar earlier in the day and transported 168 passengers to their destination in the afternoon. FIA cybercrime wing has uncovered that Nadra’s biometric data has been hacked while false SIMs are being exported. Tariq Pervez, FIA Cybercrime Wing Additional Director, disclosed Nadra’s biometric data at a National Assembly hearing on information technology. “Nadra’s data has been compromised, it has been hacked,” he explained. It is estimated that Pakistan has total debt and liability exceeding 50.5 trillion Pakistani rupees (PKR). The official figures released on Wednesday indicated that PKR 20.7 trillion was added by the current government alone.
