The incident garnered a great deal of praises after it was narrated by ABC radio presenter Alison Mitchell, in which she narrated the story about the heartwarming gesture of Pakistani players to former Aussie pacer Mitchell Johnson.
Kuwait-based Jazeera Airways has started direct flights from Kuwait to and from Karachi. The low-cost airline operated the first flight between the two countries on November 21. The new route is first in two decades between Kuwait and Karachi. The Kuwaiti airline also operates from Lahore. Jazeera Airways flight J9 507 will depart from Kuwait every Thursday at 10 pm.
President Arif Alvi has offered to provide security for next FIFA World Cup 2022 being held in Qatar. In a meeting with Commander of Qatar Emiri Guard, Maj-Gen Hazzaa Bin Khalil, President Alvi stressed that Pakistan’s professional armed force has vast experience in domain of security. He also added that the two countries have great potential to include defence export and joint production ventures.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa has suspended the notification of Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa’s tenure extension until the hearing tomorrow, stating that only the president of Pakistan can extend the tenure of the army chief. On August 19, Prime Minister Imran Khan had approved an extension in the tenure of Gen Bajwa for another three years.
Islamabad Customs officials raided a warehouse of Shaheen Chemist, one of the two leading chemist chains in the capital, and impounded a large consignment of counterfeit medicine and fake health supplements. Islamabad Customs have sealed the warehouse and legal proceedings will be initiated against the perpetrator. Soon after the incident, the district administration of Islamabad raided various chemist outlets and different medical stores were sealed in the capital.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has once again increased additional luggage charges for both domestic and international passengers. As per the spokesman of PIA, the national flag-carrier has imposed charges of Rs. 5,800 on extra baggage of more than 10 kg for international and domestic flights. Passengers traveling from Karachi to Dubai and Jeddah will be charged Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 800 for each kg of extra luggage whereas for Toronto Rs 25,000 and Rs 3,500 per kg for London bound flights.

Heller, the Trump administration will increase its support for educational opportunities and student exchange programs for Pakistani students of different backgrounds. The US embassy, in collaboration with Education USA, organized International Education Week (IEW) from November 18th to 22nd to encourage Pakistani youngsters to study in the US.
Pakistani girl, Mallak Faisal Zafar who stepped into the world of figure skating at the age of 5, has now won her first international award in Austria. Mallak clinched the first position in the Basic Novice Girls II category at the 24th International Eiscup Innsbruck 2019 for her fine display during the 2-day event. Over 200 participants from different European countries competed at this Interclub Singles Competition.
After the success of Sehat Insaf Card, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government now plans on introducing Kamyab Jawan Youth Card to facilitate the youth further. NADRA and SBP will be jointly working on a feasible strategy for rolling out the cards. The project will be revolutionary as it will be offering a number of discounts and incentives to the youth.
