Rabeeha who secured first position in the post-graduate department of Mass Communication mentioned that the gold medal was an insult to her and every student fighting against whatever is happening right now and it was in solidarity with all the students around India.

The federal cabinet on Tuesday gave the approval to a 15% cut in the prices of 89 essential and life-saving medicines with immediate effect. According to the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza, many of the medicines whose prices are being decreased are used in treating heart diseases and blood pressure. Earlier this year, the prices of medicine were increased by 15% due to the devaluation of the rupee.
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) is launching an online service for verifying educational documents. HEC will maintain and supervise an online system where all degree awarding institutions automatically submit copies of issued degrees online as soon as the degrees are awarded. Citizens will have online access to their digitally verifiable degrees and results and it will also online verify on a publicly shareable tiny-URL.

Qantas has set the record for the longest ever flight on an A380 Airbus from Dresden, Germany to Sydney, Australia. The flight took 18 hours and 26 minutes to complete. This was a non-commercial flight without passengers or cargo on it. The company operated two flights from New York to Sydney and another from London to Sydney to research if the 18+ hour journey would be practical.
An accountability court in Islamabad on Monday granted the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) 13-day physical remand of senior PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal. Iqbal is accused of using funds from the federal government and the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for a sports city being established in Narowal — a multi-billion-rupee project. While he was presented before the court, NAB did not have any evidence against him, according to PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb.
