One of Karachi’s biggest cinema chain, Neuplex Cinema, has not yet screened the long awaited ‘the Legend of Maula Jatt’. After a lot of probing by fans, it was revealed that film distributors have asked the cinema authorities to increase the price of ticket from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 1200. Now, the owners of the latter have set the record straight.
Director Bilal Lashari warned his audience against bringing children to movie The Legend of Maula Jatt as many movies claim to be family entertainers with many not being so at all. He mentioned that parents might not find the film suitable for their kids because of the graphic nature of few scenes. Such outright violence is not for the faint-hearted and little ones.
Pakistani film The Legend of Maula Jatt will finally be releasing on Eid ul Fitr, producer Ammara Hikmat confirmed in an Instagram post. Just two days ago, Hikmat had hinted that the film’s release date is not too far. The film is said to be Pakistan’s most expensive production to date.
