As the coornavirus fear subsided in South Korea, the schools reopened on Wednesday after a delay of two months. Students lined up for temperature checks and were given sanitisers to wash their hands as they entered school premises. South Korea endured one of the worst early outbreaks of the virus — at one point the second-worst hit nation.
South Korea has reported zero new local coornavirus cases and four imported cases of the coronavirus over the past 24 hours. It is the first time that its daily jump has marked below five in about two months. The Koreas Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a statement on April 30 country’s total is 10,765 with 247 deaths.
Chinese tech giant, Huawei, in a low-key ceremony, has launched first open 5G services development center at Junggu district of Seoul, South Korea. Huawei plans to invest $5 Million in this open 5G lab that will allow them build a 5G ecosystem through cooperation with a number of South Korean ICT companies and small-and-medium enterprises. The company kept other details discreet.
