Manisha Mal becomes Sindh’s first female Hindu DSP

Manisha Mal from Jacobabad, has made history by becoming the first Hindu lady to take the office of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Sindh. Mal passed the competitive CCE examinations and as per the merit list issued by the Sindh Public Service Commission office in Hyderabad, had stood 16th in the merit list for the commissioned positions in the provincial government.

Three police officials booked for murder of mentally challenged viral ‘ATM’ robber

A murder case has been registered against three police officials for allegedly torturing to death Salahuddin Ayubi, a mentally challenged robbery suspect. Ayubi was arrested after his video of breaking open an ATM machine, making faces and sticking his tongue out at CCTV camera went viral. Ayubi’s father claims he was not informed of his son’s arrest by the police.

200 sexual abuse cases solved by Pakpattan’s first female SHO

SHO Kulsoom Fatima, appointed two months ago in Pakpattan has manifested remarkable performance by solving 200 sexual abuse cases in her short tenure. In an interview to British Broadcasting Channel (BBC), Fatima revealed that she always wanted to do something for victims of sexual abuse. Luckily, she was appointed sub-inspector in Punjab Police and that gave her opportunity to work on her dream job.
