The Quantico star was appointed a UNICEF goodwill ambassador and came under fire over a tweet she posted amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan in Kashmir.
Former actor Hamza Ali Abbasi has urged the international community to take notice of the violence against Muslims in India’s capital New Delhi. A mosque was set on fire and 18 people were killed on Tuesday after supporters of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) attacked anti-CAA protest sit-ins. Taking to Twitter, Abbasi slammed the Hindutva activists’ atrocities against the peaceful protesters. He urged the world powers to take notice of human rights violations in India.
According to the Indian police. A 32-year-old Indian man disguised himself as an 81-year-old in a wheelchair in a brazen attempt to fly to the US for a job with a fake passport. The man, identified as Jayesh Patel, was arrested at New Delhi airport trying to use a passport said that he was Amrik Singh, born in February 1938. He managed to get a US visa using the fake passport.
