A Chinese national was shifted to a Lahore hospital after he fell ill at the Lahore airport as a precaution against Coronavirus. The Chinese passenger had come to Lahore in a PIA flight from Karachi. He was taken to Lahore’s Services Hospital where he was kept in isolation. According to the medical superintendent of the hospital, the patient had no symptoms of Coronavirus and was later discharged after collection of his blood samples.
A Chinese environmental company is ready to invest $3 billion in the clean drinking water and sanitation system in Lahore, said PBIT Chairman Sardar Tanveer IIyas Khan. Although he did not disclose the name of the company saying negotiations were at early stages, he revealed that the same company had already completed a couple of hydro projects in Pakistan.
