Veteran journalist Najam Sethi has been served a defamation notice of Rs. 10 billion by Prime Minister Imran Khan’s counsel Babar Awan. Sethi has been served for claiming on his TV show that Bushra Bibi, Khan’s wife, had filed for divorce. Azhar Laghari, the Central Head of PTI’s Public Relations, shared the copy of the notice on his Twitter handle.
During a telephonic conversation, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salmanbin Abdulaziz has invited Prime Minister Imran Khan to visit the kingdom on his way back from New York where he would be attending the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session. During the conversation, the premier said that it was Pakistan’s top priority to develop relations with Saudi Arabia.

The federal cabinet decided has decided to bring down prices of naan and roti to their previous rates throughout the country. At present naan is selling at Rs12 to Rs15 in different cities of the country, as opposed to Rs. 8 and Rs. 10 earlier.
