German Chancellor Angela Merkel invited Prime Minister Imran Khan to visit Germany during the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2020 on Thursday. PM alsohighlighted Pakistan’s advantages and invited the world to invest in the country during his keynote address. He spoke about the young population of the country and its untapped potential to increase trade and provide services across the globe.
A recent report published by the World Economic Forum (WEF) has ranked Pakistan ranked 151 out of 153 countries on the Global Gender Gap Index Report 2020 index. The country has drastically slipped from 112 in 2006 to 151 in 2020 and only managed to surpass Iraq and Yemen. Among the seven South Asian countries included in the index, Pakistan charted at the very bottom.
