Lahore’s Dolphin force shoots citizen

Umar Raza, a citizen of Lahore, who was going to a medical store, was reportedly shot and injured in the leg by Lahore’s ‘elite’ Dolphin force after he did not follow the Squad team’s signal to stop. Raza was then taken to a police station instead of hospital and forced to sign a statement that he was a robber.

The specialised police force was formed to function as a patrolling wing of the Punjab Police with the help of trainers from Turkey. The squad received modern training, but has failed to protect the lives and properties of citizens.
